Tawny Davis is currently a sophomore English/Communication Arts major at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. She is currently a writer for the school’s newspaper The Rattler. Her previous work experience includes writing for her high school’s newspaper at Loretto Academy in El Paso, Texas. She has also interned at El Paso’s news station ABC7 for the summer of 2017. I attended Loretto Academy in El Paso, Texas which was a catholic high school. She has chosen St. Mary’s University because it was a perfect fit for her because of her faith and my love for the city of San Antonio. The school has provided tools to succeed in life and the faith in God. She has received the Chaminade scholarship to help her pay for her education. St. Mary’s University is a school of diversity that brings all people from different backgrounds onto their campus. She prides herself in going to this university because of high level of learning that she is receiving. This university is different from other universities because it provides and environment where she can go one on one with a professor if there is ever a problem and there nothing she would change about where she is.
